About:
A lot of mid lengths are designed to trim forward and stall turn off the tail. The torpedo however, is a rail carving machine. The TORPEDO still loves to high line trim and is also loose off the tail, but its designed to open up and carve.
Outline:
At the foot makes, The outline is a double ender with only slight variances in the shape of the none and tail tips.
Rocker, Rails, Foil:
The TORPEDO has a sleek and knifey back half. It’s flatter rocker out the tail is fast and directional yet remains sensitive due to it’s low volume rails. The deck is rolled with most of it’s volume under the chest. The foil and volume up front is sleek and refined.
Bottom contours:
She has very minimal concave forward leading into slight double concave that feeds water on into the her ‘Dynamo Channels’ This combination creates a fast, free and predictable craft.
Conclusion:
Great fun in 1’ waves, epic fun in head high surf and awesome in double overhead surf.
The Twins are complemented by a neat tight pin tail, the fins are splayed in and are positioned back towards the tail for maximum grip and minimal drift.
