A channel design that has its placement derived from the Golden Ratio of 1.618, a mathematical number that has captivated artists, architects, and scientists for centuries.

Break through design. Beautiful design excelling backside. Silky smooth on rail, rolling rail to rail with ease at high speed. From 1ft grovel to 3-4ft points. Can be ridden with smaller twins, the ‘fin hugger’ channels drive them into the face…. Love this Board.

GOLDEN RATIO LOTUS CHANNELS
Inegra cloth, resin infused, carbon strip. At 6’5, Lotus has massive reach-drive-hold for big bottom turns and Twin fin snap off the top. Bare bones addictive drive. Build to last. Check the Inegra weave lines ;)

The only plan was, Twinny + channels. If a picture Tells a thousand words then this first pic of me is it. I was only hoping for the best.
This was a Burfords blank with a yellow Poly urethane strip running either side of the stringer. Nothing Tech here just cosmetics.
Solid true angles coupled with well placed lights allows you to trust your eyes and properly gauge foil and foam distribution.
I wasn’t done with the channels on the bottom, there is four more to come out off the tail . But jumping ahead, here is some pic’s of the deck with a clamshell like channel configuration…
We have some parabolic deck hand gripping channels
Just because I can… You could argue they are to help on a super late drop and stop the nose from spearing in… But, I don’t think so.
Here are the extra 4 channels. I was Winging it as far as this build goes, after I add the 6 channels into this board it looked like the rocker out the tail was to low. I added more channels to create lift and grip.
No decals were put under the cloth while glassing the bottom, so that I could concentrate on the channels. I added extra catalyst in the resin stop any drain out.
